Struggle

Nahia walked out of the alley pissed off as hell. The pain within her best began to burn slightly once again. She passed a thoughtful hand over it. She turned her gaze upon chaos and destruction she had caused and smiled. Yes, finally I am starting to get my groove back. Yet her thoughts turned to Login. She yearned for him. . . so she fucked every guy she could. Her thoughts were filled with the look of utter sorrow within his eyes when she disappeared from his life but it was for the best. Pein would never rest until he made her suffer. . . she couldn't afford to risk his well being.
She looked around as humans ran, bumping into each other. Blood coated the streets and ran like a crimson river. And then there he was. Across the street, the humans scrambled and screamed yet her entire focus was on him. There eyes met and a small gasp left her lips as she saw him move toward her. No!  She turned running as fast as she could, she knew she would not be able to bear leaving him again. She was in love with him. . . and oh how those words cursed her.

  1. It was a miracle; he never would have thought he actually would find Nahia still on the scene. He had heard for weeks about Nahia's terrible deeds, thankful only for the thought that she had not died from her wounds. His search only truly began when his mother set a bounty on Nahia's head and he knew that if he wanted to see her again... he'd have to beat the hunters to her. Days he had been following Nahia's trail and there she was, her crimson eyes having crossed paths with his. It was as though it were a dream. She turned and ran as he began to approach her.
He couldn't pass this up. He had to see her, talk to her... he wouldn't let his love escape him again. So he pursued and hoped against hope that this really wasn't a dream.

  2. Move damn it move! She ran a fast as she could weaving through the humans. She could hear Login's feet hit the pavement as he began to catch up to her. Panic began to settle in as she darted into an abandoned building. She stopped looking around for a place to hid. Damn it! Of course she picks the one building with nothing in it! She moved towards the exit as fast as she could but Login was already there. She backed away from him as he advanced. She gave a startled gasp as her back hit a wall. Damn it Nahia. . .. its like you wanted this.

  3. "Nahia!" exclaimed Login, breathless from the chase. "Thank goodness... you're alright... When you left last time... I was certain you..." He trailed off, noticing Nahia's indignant and cold stare. A small part of him wondered if he was being stupid, that she really cared not for him... Could he make that risk if it were so?
"What do you want?" she hissed, the venom behind her words small but fierce. In truth, she sounded... almost fearful.
He was slightly bewildered with her question. "I... I wanted to see you again, Nahia... I couldn't let them... hurt you..."
She cocked her head to the side, confused. "Who's 'them'?"
"Bounty hunters," he replied and she laughed.
"Let them come," she taunted. "I can handle them."
"All the same... I needed to see you, Nahia. I love you." That small part that doubted Nahia jeered at him; you'll regret this someday, it said. He didn't care, as long as he didn't regret it now, he would live with anything Nahia put him through.

  4. She closed her eyes at his words. I love you too her mind answer but she didn't allow herself to say it.
She opened her eyes, letting him see nothing but cold hatred. "You are foolish for coming. If there are truly bounty hunters after me you have set a nice little trail for them to follow."
He gave a startled expression as a slow blush appeared. Oh how she wanted to comfort him. How she longed for him to kiss her once more, but she ignored the feeling.
"Nahia. . ." But he seemed at a loss for words. The pain began to pulsate once more. Damn it... why did it happen around him?
"Leave now vampire. I don't return your feeling. .. I don't. . . love you." She cursed herself for she faltered in the last part. It seemed to spark hope in Login for a small smile appeared on his face.
"Oh go fuck yourself Login. It will make you feel better." She pushed past him, intent on turning her back on him forever.

  5. "There's the fallen I remember," sounded an ominous voice. It echoed off the barren walls and through the tiniest of cracks. Nahia hissed loudly as she recognized whom the voice belonged to. It chuckled in response.
"Though... you still seemed to be troubled by something." She heard a loud thump from behind along with a shocked yelp and as she turned her eyes met the sight of Pein holding Login by the hair in one hand, his other poised to strike Login's neck. "Let's get rid of the little nuisance, shall we?"

  6. "No!" She shouted as Login struggled in Pein's grip.
Pein raised an amused eyebrow at her as a claw met Login's flesh drawing a small line of blood. Nahia moved, immediately she struck at Pein who easily dodged letting go of Login. He smiled wickedly at Nahia as she stood protectively in front of Login.
"I told you to stay away damn it!" She yelled at Login.
"Don't worry about him, he will be dead soon enough." Pein laughed and lunged forward. Nahia gave a swift kick, Pein caught it, twisting her so that she was slammed onto the ground. She gasped as Pein held on to her leg, lifting her off the ground and throwing her across the building. She gritted her teeth as she impacted against the wall.
Login screamed and Nahia's heart wrenched as she watched Pein strike Login's shoulder so strong that his hand went straight threw it.
"Oops." He said nonchalantly as he removed his hand and let Login drop to the floor.
"No!" Nahia flashed in from of Pein, letting loose an array of attacks. Very few hit him. Pein merely laughed at her.

  7. Sweet crimson stained the floor and with each breath brought about the increased flow of blood. It mercilessly poured into his lung, slowly but surely threatening to drown him. He couldn't cry or gasp in agony for the pain was too great. Somewhere beyond his sight he could hear Nahia frantically attack Pein as her shouts of frustration increased with every blow he dodged.
He wanted to help, he had to get up. And yet the motion of doing so pained him so deeply. He coughed in protest, rivers of blood pouring from his mouth. No... Things starting becoming distant... Nahia...!

  8. Pein's increasing dodges angered her. With a growl she landing a blow onto his side, drawing blood. Pein smiled as he grabbed her wrist. She cried out as he twisted it and pinned her against the wall. She struggled against his grip but he held her firmly and drew closer to her.
"I will enjoy when he dies Nahia, oh, how I will enjoy it." He whispered and just like that he was gone. Nahia turned her upmost attention to Login, rushing to his side.
"Its ok Login, its ok." She turned him so that his head rested on her lap. Tenderly, she brushed the strands of hair that lightly hid his face from her. His yes were closed and his breaths were shallow.
"No... no Login don't... don't die.. please... God... I love you.. i love you!" Tears ran down her cheeks, crashing softly on his face. Maybe.. it will work! Please work!
Her hand met the wound Login winced slightly. She willed the power she had before to work. . . but nothing happened. Please! . . . yet it did not come to her.
She would save him... she would! And oh.. how she will take revenge on Pein... she will enjoy his cries of desperation as she takes his mate... she will relish in it.
She carefully drew Login's arm over her as she helped him up. Only one answer came to mind.. . and she knew she would have a hard time escaping after.
"I am taking you to your motor Login. Hang in there love. . . please hand in there Login." And she flashed to stand in front of the massive castle.. Dread filled her as she took a step straight into the lions den.

  9. It was suicide, he thought as he processed her words. Though he had every confidence in Nahia, he feared for her as she walked onward to her possible death. He coughed in response to his accelerated heartbeat, more blood escaping his lips. His head was pounding... he was getting dizzy.
He stumbled to his knees, Nahia's voice filtered out immensely to nothing more than just noise. His grip on her weakened, his strength leaving him, and his vision failing.
He tried to speak, to comfort Nahia and tell her to not worry, that he'd make it through, but each time he opened his mouth let loose waves of blood. He attempted to look in Nahia's eyes, which seemed to be adorned with heavy tears. Nahia, he wanted to say, Please, don't... don't cry... I... I love... you...

  10. Damn it!
"Login, please, . . Oh God, don't worry, don't worry. I will save you. I love you Login, I love you." She repeated over and over to him, hoping that he would listen. . . that he could. She gathered all her strength and lifted Login once more. She ended up dragging him, his strength had left him completely.
She reached the door, she didn't even have to knock for it swung open revealing Dusk.
Her angered gaze first landed on Nahia then turned to utter horror as she saw her son bleeding endlessly.
"You bitch! And you have the nerve to show your face here!" Nahia opened her mouth to speak but was cut off as Dusk lunged forward taking her by the throat. She cried out as Login fell onto the ground.
"Please... Login.. login!" it was all she could make out. Behind Dusk appeared her mate, Skilar. When his gaze met hers, he growled viciously at her. Oh. . . he's a vampire now.... This is awkward.
"Dusk! Tend to Login. I will handle her." His assertive voice shocked Nahia slightly. Last time she had seen him he was as week as a puppy and now he has changed completely. Dusk rolled her eyes and threw Nahia and Ski who caught her easily.
She looked panicky at Login as his mother began to tend to his wounds. She closed her eyes with relief. Thank God. . he will be ok. They flew open once more as she saw vampire guards flooding in.
"Take her to the prisoners cell, she will remain there until her sentence is carried out... which won't be for long. We have been waiting for you Nahia." He hissed her name and Ski handed her over to the guards.
Now! She twisted against their grip and broke free. The guards moved in attacking her from all sides. Nahia easily dodged and ran for the door. But she greatly underestimated them. Skilar was in front of her in a heart beat striking hard an fast. Nahia cried out as his claws tore at her side. She jumped back and right into the guards. They bound her hands, pinning her to the ground. She screamed as they applied pressure. Her eyes met those of Login, utter fear reflected in them.
She was lifted to her feet and brought to meet Dusk's menacing gaze.
"I will make sure you burn." Was all she said before signaling the soldiers to take her away.
Damn it Nahia. . . how will you get out of this now.

  11. "Wait!" yelped Login. Dusk placed a delicate hand on his chest, easing him back down. He gasped in agony, even at the slight pressure she put upon him. At her touch, his gaze flickered to her sourly.
"You dare to lay a finger on her... and I'll make sure you pay." He wasn't sure of what the gravity of his threat meant, especially as Dusk's eyebrows raised in shock and Skilar glanced nervously between Dusk, Login, and Nahia.
"Login..." piped up Dusk, surveying him as though he were challenged. "Do you have any idea what she's done-"
"Of course I do," he hissed, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. He swallowed, gathering his strength. "And I don't care."
"You're tired, Login," stated his mother, her expression stone cold. "Please escort him to his room." The nearby guards not containing Nahia approached Login; he hissed in protest and kept them at bay as he scratched any who got too close.
    "I'm not leaving!" he bellowed.
    "Yes, you are," ordered Dusk.
    "Dammit, mother!!"
"Dusk," cautioned Skilar. She turned a bewildered gaze to him, but he did not look at her. She followed his eyes to Nahia, who portrayed a pained expression as she stared worriedly at Login. Dusk huffed.

  12. "Don't be stupid Login, let them heal you!" She yelled at him. She ignored the stares and attention she brought to herself. The guard behind her tightened his hold on her bonds. She winced at the growing pressure. Login was about to protest when Nahia turned her cold stare to the guard.Lacing her voice with venom she said, "Do that one more time, and I swear when I get out of here, you will be the first I gut in front of your entire family. I will send hordes of demons to take turn raping your unsuspecting ass. Oh, and your screams will be sweet music to my ears." She leaned in closer, "They enjoy it most when you struggle. . . it excites them." The guard's eyes went round as he stumbled back. Oops? Did I use my fallen power of persuasion? My bad. . . she thought wickedly before turning her gaze back to the Roseland's. They all stared at her, Login looking slightly amused. . . but still bleeding.
"Woman! Tend to your dying son damn it!" Yet Dusk merely stood there which enraged Nahia further. "Damn it! Congratulations you caught me! Still doesn't change the fact I raped your ass" turning her attention to Skilar who bared his fangs in response. "And made you beg on your knees for his release." Turning her gaze to Dusk. She could hear the guard suck in a gasp as she adressed their queen disrespectfully.
None of this mattered to Nahia though, because the growing pain within her had become nearly unbearable once more. She hissed as her vision began to blur slightly. She looked down to the wound Ski had managed to give her. Oh. . . thats going to hurt like a fucker. . . .

  13. "Take her away to the execution grounds," Dusk ordered. What little blood there was left in Login froze and in his desperation to save Nahia, he found the darkness once more awakening. He flinched as it enveloped his entire body, the transition was always discomforting. His hand waved with a flourish and the guards fell to the ground simultaneously, unconscious.
His attention solely on Nahia's well-being, he was unprepared as suddenly his face was smacked by a forceful hand. He remained shocked and looked upon his mother, whose hand was still poised high. There was a certain crazed fear within her gaze and he growled menacingly in response.
"Login!" she warned, her tone especially course and mother-like. "Remember what I told you! You are not to use that power! Do you honestly wish to end up like-" Her voice trailed away as pain flashed across Login's eyes. He knew it. He had already been condemned and he hadn't even done anything.
He stared at her coldly, blankly, as he hissed, "Give her fair trial. Do it or your precious kingdom's lost." The ire and hatred was foreign to him for they were not born from his true emotions. The darkness laughed gleefully at the thought of death and bloodshed, of watching people suffer beneath his power.
"Login," chimed a small voice and immediately he was snapped out of his trance. He looked upon Nahia and her worried and confused gaze. He wished he could answer her, to make the pain within her vanish... But the strains of his injuries finally set in. No longer could he tell the difference between his inner darkness and that of death as his eyes drooped in exhaustion. Before passing out, he heard Dusk's voice ring out, "Take him to the infirmary! Hurry! Escort the fallen to the dungeon cells. Now!"

  14. "Login!" Nahia cried out as guards took her once more. She fought against them, desperation settling in as she watched them take her bloodied Login away. Hatred and anger burned deep within her. Pein will pay dearly. Oh he will squirm! Her thoughts became demented as they dragged her to the cells.
They unbound her hands only to place them in chains once more. They did so for her feet as well. She growled, snapping at the guards as they left her there. She didn't know what to do. She didn't know how to escape, and yet over her own well-being she could not stop thinking about Login.
God Nahia. . . you fell hard for him. She moaned in pain as it grew. She tugged at the chains knowing it was a futile gesture.
"Login. . ." It was all she could say as she sat there... awaiting her "trial."

  15. Nightfall approached, a small breeze blowing through the bared windows making the dungeons colder as the hours progressed. Occasionally, Nahia would attempt to slip through her bonds only to give up in frustration. The frustration would make her cry in desperation, her thoughts consumed with Login's welfare. If only someone would inform her, a guard, a fellow criminal, anyone! But who would tell someone like her? So she sat in complete misery, every now and then bursting into tears when a terrifying thought crossed her mind: that he was dead. And in the deluge of her tears she would curse Pein to the very depths of hell and back, conjuring up every possible punishment she could force upon him. She relished in it, his agony could not satisfy her enough.
Quite suddenly, in the early morning hours, the door creaked ominously as it was opened. She froze, awaiting for what she knew not. Perhaps the guard to escort her to her death? She was slightly bewildered to see a man in a cloak approach her cell. He glanced around him for other spectators before removing the hood.
"Login!" Nahia exclaimed, relief and joy overwhelming her. He held up a finger to his lips and she covered her mouth with her hand, slightly embarrassed. He grinned that beautiful grin she loved as he pulled out keys she was sure he swiped from another guard to unlock her cell door.

  16. The sly dog! She thought with great relief. You're alive.. you're ok! When he released her from her bonds she couldn't help throwing her arms around him and claiming his lips. He gasped lightly before wrapping his arms around her waist. She could have stayed like that forever until Login drew back with the biggest grin she had ever seen. She blushed furiously as she realized how affectionate she had been.
"We have to go,now." He whispered to her.
She merely nodded feeling foolish and out of control. Great.... he is NEVER going to drop that.... she thought darkly as he led them through the corridors, guiding them swiftly and silently to freedom. She could not stop admiring how attractive he looked right now. He's sexy when he's bad. . . what can I say? . . . Shut up Nahia! She shook her head to snap her out of her thoughts.
"You are being extremely stupid Login." She hissed at him. He didn't answer. Its no use Nahia... you have dug your grave.. the damned vampire knows you love him now.... fuck.. .

  17. They skidded to a halt as they reached the mouth of a cave, overlooking a great valley from above. The morning sun had not yet risen and it seemed the night was filled with peaceful silence.
"You'll want to head west," said Login, pointing toward the open air. Nahia's eyes moved along his arm to his chest then to his face, not taking in what he was saying. Login remained oblivious to this as he laid out directions for her escape. "You'll want to start heading east after about five miles-"
"Login," called Nahia softly. Turning to her, Login saw her eyes fixed on nothing else but him and he swallowed. How long had she been staring? Mesmerized, he leaned slowly to her, wondering if she would reject him. And yet, quite surprisingly, she leapt into his waiting lips, a deep passion emanating in her breaths. He didn't try to break away in her embrace.

  18. Her fingers tangled in his hair bringing him closer. She had given up her fight. She didn't want to go against her love anymore. SHe would take the risk, for him, she would risk anything. He pulled in closer his hand caressing her hips. She smiled against his lips as she pressed herself against him.
No longer caring for the consequences, Nahia ran her hands across his chest, slowly moving downward. Login sucked in a startled breath as she lightly stroked him.
She looked into his eyes, and with true sincerity she said, "I love you Login. With all my heart."

  19. His heart leapt with joy at her words and suddenly there was nothing else in the world that mattered than the beautiful creature he held in his arms. He tenderly kissed her and staring lovingly into her eyes, said, "And I love you, Nahia. More than anything."
They lost themselves in each other once more and it wasn't until Nahia felt the comfort of bed sheets did she realize he had teleported them to his bedroom. She grasped his lips closer to her's, their tongues stroking one another. His hand held the small of her back, clinging him to his body. The cool night air breathed into the bedroom and it seemed the morning sun would not wake, granting them what felt like an endless moment of perfection.

  20. They lay there in heated passion. Touching, stroking, exploring each other. Nahia moaned with anticipation, wanting him to be inside her. She wanted all of him. She reached down unbuttoning his pants as his hands ran up her skirt, pulling it up. She shivered when his touch lingered on her thighs. She could get lost in this moment forever, but it seemed that fate had other plans.
"Login Rye Evensin!" Dusk's commanding voice resounded throughout the room. Login jolted as he turned to face his mother.
"Aw. . ." Nahia said, catching herself only after she had said it. Login shot her an amused look and Dusk looked simply murderous. Nahia smiled and shrugged at Dusk, "Oops?"

  21. Dusk's aghast gaze stared in the general area of Login's hips. "Login, please! Cover yourself!"
Login smiled devilishly, perhaps as a result of his earlier passion. "Or... you could leave." He licked Nahia's neck as he rubbed up against her and suddenly she knew why Dusk was so aghast. She giggled, enraging Dusk further.
"LOGIN, I MEAN IT, GET AWAY FROM HER!!"
He rolled his eyes. "Not this time. I'm having her before you do." Both girls were slightly shocked at his response; Nahia smirked but Dusk was indignant.
"Mother," Login interrupted, his focus fixed on Nahia as he kissed along her collarbone. "I love you... but you're a real nag, you know that?"
Nahia struggled to fight back laughter as Dusk's mouth hung open in utter shock and amazement. She watched for several moments as Login eagerly feasted upon Nahia and finally threw her hands up in the air.
"Fine! Don't expect me to vouch for you anymore, then. And DON'T come crying to me once you realize your mistake!!"
"It's love; it could never be a mistake," he mumbled as the door slammed shut at Dusk's bewildered outrage.

  22. Nahia laughed in utter delight.
"Login! You are bad you know that? What have i done to your innocence!" Login grinned at her and oh how she loved that grin.
"I was never innocent Nahia, you just made me realize some things is all." He kissed her, his tongue stroking hers and her words were lost. Arching her hips she gasped as Login entered her. They both moaned. Their passionate breaths and cries filled his room. Within moments their clothes were shed and they feasted upon one another. They tangled themselves upon his bed sheets no longer caring about the world or what it thought. Finally they were together, finally the once heartless Nahia, and the once lost Login found their love in each other and with each gasp and sigh they made, that love grew and a lifetime bond was made between a fallen and her vampire.
