"Do you think they will be all right?" She peered over her partners shoulder, her curiosity taking hold of her.
"Yes, Nahia, I have healed them. They should be purged of their sins and return to their lives."
Daren turned to face her, his beautiful golden eyes as stoic as ever. The shine of his dark blonde hair. . . he truly was amongst the most beautiful of the angels.
"Thank you. I do not know what I would have done if you had not come along." Her gaze shifted towards the men that lay now unconscious on the ground. Her attempt at purifying their souls were met with great resistance. Why was she so soft? Not being one of the warrior angels as Daren belonged to, she supposed she would be. But it was no excuse! How could she serve her God with such a weak will? If Daren had not stumbled upon her the men would have completely consumed her, their sins would have been permanent and she would have surely fallen.
"It is all right, Nahia." His gaze shifted away from hers to the starry night sky above.
"What is wrong?"
His hesitation sent alarm through the young angel. Daren's body tensed, the sword on his hip instantly drawn from its sheath and poised for battle.
"Daren?"
"Nahia. . . You should not have spoken to him."
Fear shot through her only slightly. No. . . he couldn't know, it wasn't possible. So, naturally she denied it, "I do not know what you speak of, Daren."
Those intense gold of his eyes flickered to hers. Annoyance was obviously spiking within the warrior angel. He knew.
"It is nothing. I assure you, Daren. I just-"
"You know very well what demons are capable of, Nahia. Do not be so foolish as to fall for his trickery. Now go."
"But-"
"Go!" His melodic voice resounded with all the authority of a warrior, the confidence and strife.
She inclined her head in farewell before taking her leave.
She arrived in her home within the second. The building simple and modest as all angels lived. To have to many material possessions was sin. . . but she did wish for a few luxuries. Perhaps this is what separated her from her brethren so much?
She sighed and headed for the small bathroom at the back of the house. Its rustic tiles adding more to the sense of true poverty. Of course, no angel needed material objects, their bodies had no need of food or drink, but having such things made them feel. . . human. Ah, but was that not the curse of those very angels whom also thought in the same manner? And whom now served the Dark Lord in their quest for blood and power.
The very creatures that now Daren faced alone. She shouldn't have left Daren to fight Pein alone. He was her problem, she should have taken care of it.
And how? She was a mere weakling amongst the angels of such high rank.
She shook her head in pure disgust. I must be out of my mind. . . and with that thought she threw on her cloak and vanished to the one place she knew she should never have gone to. The home of Pein Kuro, son of the fallen angel Lucifer, to await his return.

Struggle
Nahia walked out of the alley pissed off as hell. The pain within her best began to burn slightly once again. She passed a thoughtful hand over it. She turned her gaze upon chaos and destruction she had caused and smiled. Yes, finally I am starting to get my groove back. Yet her thoughts turned to Login. She yearned for him. . . so she fucked every guy she could. Her thoughts were filled with the look of utter sorrow within his eyes when she disappeared from his life but it was for the best. Pein would never rest until he made her suffer. . . she couldn't afford to risk his well being.
She looked around as humans ran, bumping into each other. Blood coated the streets and ran like a crimson river. And then there he was. Across the street, the humans scrambled and screamed yet her entire focus was on him. There eyes met and a small gasp left her lips as she saw him move toward her. No! She turned running as fast as she could, she knew she would not be able to bear leaving him again. She was in love with him. . . and oh how those words cursed her.

She did not sleep that night. She merely sat, her back against the head board and watched Login sleep. She had insisted on sleeping on the couch but wouldn't have it. So, here she was, in bed with a sleeping vampire. She had pretended to fall asleep long enough for him to rest.
She removed a stray strand of hair from his face. She could feel a blush creep its way to her face and quickly pulled her hand away. I shouldn't be here. . . Nahia. . . you should leave now. . . Yet she found herself unmoving, staring off into the waterfall, thinking of what could be.
. . . . .
She watched the sunrise she hadn't even noticed Login move until he spoke.
"Beautiful huh?"
His voice startled her. She looked at him. His hair was tussled, he looked absolutely adorable. She looked away, hiding her smile.

Her fall~
Pain resounded through her body. Her light vanished and darkness began to consume her. It seeped through her mental barriers, corrupting and changing her mind. She screamed as the pain intensified, leaving her nearly paralyzed with its force. Its not happening.. its not! Her mind screamed, resisting to accept that she had caused this, she had committed sin and now. . . she was a fallen.
All the while she heard a distant laugh. It was a low rumble that sounded close to her. Nahia lifted her head slightly from her curled position and peered at the source.
"Whats wrong little Nahia? Does it hurt? You can feel it can't you? Your light leaving your precious angelic form, the darkness within morphing you into a fallen. Did you honestly think any good would fall to you once you slept with me?" He smirked. " It was fun while it lasted," She winced as se realized what he meant. He had used her as a mere amusement. "Oh? Don't look at me like that. Did you actually think I love you? No little slut, I only take what I need. Nothing more. Your consequences are your own and certainly no dilemma of mine. Night sweet heart." He placed a kiss on her cheek, and with a whisper of the wind, was gone.

She was left alone.
As the darkness finally consumed her once pure heart, Nahia realized something. It was not her death. No. It was her awakening. She now had power, she would seek her revenge. She would make the demon pay.
His name would forever be imbedded into her mind.
Pein. . .
